These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VentaDot, operated by VentaDot. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract, to create an account.

VentaDot is a technology platform that lets a restaurant (the "Restaurant") take table-side orders via QR code, manage its kitchen and billing, and lets guests browse a menu and place an order.

VentaDot is not the seller of the food or beverages ordered through the platform, and is not a restaurant, food business operator, or party to the sale between a Restaurant and a guest. The Restaurant is solely responsible for: the accuracy of its menu, pricing and GST; the quality, safety and hygiene of the food it prepares and serves; compliance with FSSAI and all other food-safety and licensing law applicable to it; fulfilling and honouring orders; and handling any refund, complaint or dispute about an order directly with the guest. VentaDot facilitates the ordering and payment flow and is not liable for the food itself.

A Restaurant is responsible for the accuracy of the information it enters (menu, prices, tax, hours), for keeping its login credentials secure, and for actions taken through its account, including by its staff.

Guests may pay online (through our payment processor) or by other methods the Restaurant makes available (such as cash or card at the table). Online payments are processed by a third-party payment processor (such as Razorpay); VentaDot does not store full card or bank details. Prices, taxes and any service charge are set by the Restaurant, not VentaDot.

VentaDot's own plan fees (if any, for the Restaurant's subscription) are as shown on our Pricing page at the time of signup. Our Starter plan is offered at no cost as described on that page. We do not charge guests a commission on their order.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fully secure, though we take reasonable steps to keep it available and secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VentaDot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose (or, for free plans, INR 5,000).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for fraud or gross negligence).

You agree to indemnify and hold VentaDot harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the service, or content you upload.

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or suspected fraud or abuse. You may stop using the service, and close your account, at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
